Final weekend: The Nutcracker and the Tale of the Hard Nut

It’s official: the kids are out of school and we are less than a week away from Christmas. In the midst of your holiday soirees, last-minute shopping, and hot cocoa-sipping, the final weekend of Tacoma City Ballet’s Nutcracker is commencing.

This year, TCB’s Nutcracker is really something special: Spectrum Dance Theater has provided several dancers in lead roles, the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra is now orchestrating (with the new and wonderful Sara Ioannides at the helm) , and the show features the youngest Sugar Plum Fairy ever—15 year-old Carolynne Guinup.

Don’t miss the final weekend of this holiday favorite.  Tickets available at http://www.broadwaycenter.org/events/tacoma-city-ballet.
