House of Saint Helens slays with insane Pride concert
House of Saint Helens will host a gigantic Gay Pride celebration Concert on July 11th at Club Silverstone.
This is producer Kawika (Coco) Ridep’s second Pride concert- his first was a huge success at last year’s Tacoma Pride. Check out the 2015 lineup of La Femme, featuring rappers, singers, DJs, and drag:
Headlining the show is RYE RYE, a poppy, rambunctious Baltimore rapper who caught the attention of artists like Blaqstarr and MIA at a young age and has been making music with them and others (like Robyn) since.
Awkwafina: a Queens born artist who has carved out a place for herself in the rap scene with her often funny, always upfront flows.
Murphy Maxwell: beloved Tacoma local singer unafraid of vocal runs and riffs, delivers with intricate and unexpected beats and arresting performance style.
Considered by many to be a top club DJ in both the Seattle and New York scenes, Colby b earned regular spots spinning at Neumos and Chop Suey, and now plays in NY clubs Le Bain, Marquee, EVR and more.
DJ Kidd Madonny: an electronic dance DJ from Miami, recognized as an accomplished innovator in the club music scene.
Flave: a Seattle DJ, Flave creates funk and disco inspired beats.
This concert will be hosted and MCed by the Illustrious Ms. Hattie Hotpants – An actress, artist and burlesque performer from Olympia.
This amazing line-up of talented and sought after artists from here in Tacoma and around the country is a testament to the power of the Tacoma Pride movement.
The show is a great chance to see musicians, each impressive on their own, come together to show love and support for the community.
